Polo | Bloomingdale’s - Interactive Father’s Day Windows

Project Overview

Polo Ralph Lauren partnered with Bloomingdale’s to do a window takeover for Father’s Day Weekend. They wanted our team to create an immersive experience that combined print, projection, digital and interactive elements to allow users to show from the window. The windows consisted of cut vinyl, digital video walls, interactive displays with touch vinyl overlays to allow users to build the perfect shirt/tie combination, shop for the perfect pant and see the variety of polo shirts through these displays. In each of the interactive windows, the selected style combination would be projected on a transparent glass in a silhouetted fashion to mimic a holographic rendering of the preferred style.

The non interactive windows had large video walls in the windows that ran various ads promoting their fragrances and lifestyle videos of polo matches being played. Each window had a vinyl covering with die cut vinyl lettering to frame the entire space and create a cohesive and clean look. In addition, each window had a QR code and number for users to text to shop their created look online. Our team handled the design, development, creative assistance and installation/maintenance for the 2 week takeover event.
